Hello! My name is Neil Stickel and I am a Photographer and Adventurer currently based in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I love to travel, experience the world, take photos, and share stories.
I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and inherited my first camera from my dad, a Mamiya-Sekor 35mm film camera. Growing up in such a diverse area as New York, I was exposed to all sorts of cultures, food, and ways of life. From a very young age I decided I wanted to visit every corner of the globe.
My first serious work with the camera was for Astrophotography in High School where I captured some great photos of Comet Hale-Bopp and Comet Hyakutake. Fast forward a few years and some oversees travel and I have realized that travel, photography, and learning all that I can about the world are my true passions.
In the past 10 years I have added 7 countries and 2 more continents to my passport including Nepal, which has blasted open my curiosity for visiting more of Asia. I have always used the camera to help me not only understand the world around me, but to better understand myself and what I am trying to do with my time on this spinning little marble called Earth.
