Image of the Month – December 2021
Pond Sunset
Horicon Marsh, Wisconsin – One of the largest freshwater cattail marsh’s in the United States, Horicon Marsh lives up to its name as a wildlife refuge. Over 300 different species of birds have been known to visit the marsh, as well as impressive gathering’s of Canadian Geese and Sandhill cranes. Plenty of other wildlife as well as some Indian Ceremonial mounds are also in the area.
A stunning winter sunset took center stage this particular visit to the Marsh. This photo explodes with color and when hanging in my booth, all eyes take a moment to soak it all in. I had a hard time keeping this print in stock this season so I keep a few extra on hand these days. I have these in my standard 8×10 and 11×14 Matted Print’s as well as Metal Prints from 8×10 up to 24×36 for a stunning center piece in a room.
