Greetings all!
We are about half way through the Summer, and thus about half way through the Art Show season. Although I am only in about 10 shows this season, it’s been a busy one! Each show has some varying degree of preparation work that goes in ahead of time. Either assembling matted prints, or tweaking something about my in person art booth – there is always something to be done.
This past weekend we (me and my partner Jamie) were at a show in our home area of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin (just outside the city of Milwaukee). It was a good show at an absolutely amazing venue – the back gardens of a late 19th century Victorian mansion.
A few weeks before that we had the pleasure of showing at the Millennium Art Festival in Chicago. It was my first show in Chicago, and wow were there some lessons learned! Aside of almost non-stop rain, it was a good weekend. The ups and downs evened out, and I got to spend some time with old friends as well.
