Last Friday, I had the pleasure of attending a gallery opening at the Center for Visual Arts in Wausau, WI.
It was a particularly special gallery opening, as it was my very first! One of my favorite pieces, Kathmandu Back Alley, was chosen to be in the Wisconsin Craft Biennial show, this year called: ReGeneration.
WI Craft, an artist guild that I belong to, does a member show every 2 years, and I was honored to have Kathmandu Back Alley selected for the event.
Kathmandu Back Alley has always been a head turner at my in person shows and I am so happy to see it hanging in a gallery – a real dream come true moment. The evening was a wonderful show of support by friends and peers for an amazing collection of artists. The CVA played a wonderful host to the event and their team was top notch in the presentation and curating of the several openings that were going on that night. I look forward visiting again and hopefully working with the CVA on a future project of my own!
